— The discipline
What is
MTB Enduro?
Enduro is the discipline that defines mountain biking at its purest. Races consist of a course — often a loop — where riders alternate between untimed liaison sections and timed special stages. The rider with the lowest cumulative time across all stages wins. Like rally or enduro moto, liaison times are regulated. The Provençal landscape is particularly suited to technical, playful routes. It is no surprise that Provence produced some of France’s finest enduro riders — Yvaral Villier among them.
