One of the world’s most iconic mountain bike races: a mass start on the Pic Blanc glacier at more than 3,300 m, followed by a long, demanding descent where speed, repeated accelerations and the smallest mistake can change everything. Racing at the front in that chaos, alongside some of the best riders of the era, showed the level required.

An extreme format in the spirit of the Megavalanche: a grouped high-altitude start, very high speeds, long Alpine sections and direct racing all the way to the finish.

Fabien Barel Invitational / Urge Kenya
An extraordinary human and sporting adventure: a very small group of riders gathered in Kenya to climb the slopes of Africa’s second-highest mountain, then race back down. The experience became even more intense when an altitude-related health incident required timely care from the expedition doctor.
Competition reached far beyond France — China, Réunion, Switzerland and Africa — shaping a broader view of riding, terrain and culture.
